Palletizing

This is the process of using a device to stack products onto a pallet. For factories palletizing is a common packing method for all types of products from soda and food, to any other item needing distributing. The reason items are packed on a pallet is because the structure of a pallet is usually flat and easily lifted by forklift.

Palletizing can occuron metal, wood and plastic pallets. Many different palletizing machines exist from manual style to robotic style palletizers. Depending on the item a simple hand truck could be used for palletizing or a more complex automatic palletizer may be needed.
