Micro-Crystalline Anodizing
Time to Read: 0m 41s
Micro-crystalline anodizing is a variation of the aluminum anodizing process in which the anodic coating molecules are phase changed into partially crystalline structures. Micro-crystalline anodizing provides the highest chemical and corrosion resistance of any anodizing method. The micro-crystalline anodizing process utilizes low voltage rectification, carefully controlled current density, and a unique post process that is ultimately responsible for phase changing the amorphous oxide coating into its final crystalline structure. Micro-crystalline anodic coatings are fully RoHS and cytotoxic compliant.
Applications for Micro-Crystalline Anodizing
Micro-crystalline anodized coatings are ideal for applications:- Requiring high chemical resistance
- Where high corrosion resistance is needed
