Industrial Air Pollution Abatement

Time to Read: 0m 59s

Protecting and preserving the environment is a major concern facing modern industry. Numerous regulatory standards are in place limiting the amount of air pollutants that can be produced by industrial processes, and a wide range of products are available to assist in the mitigation of hazardous and regulated air pollutants. Power generation, such as Utility MACT and MATS and Boiler MACT processes, require diligent and verifiable adherence to the EPA’s many established mitigation standards. State and local standards also often apply, as well. Pollutant emissions of sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide, mercury, hydrogen chloride, and hydrogen fluoride can be reduced to acceptable levels through boiler duct injection of the proper sorbent chemicals. These chemicals are effective for all power generation boilers, regardless of whether they are coal, oil, biomass, or
