Helical Piles & Helical Piers

Time to Read: 0m 48s

Helical piles, also known as helical piers, are anchors that can be attached to the foundation of a building to provide additional stability in unfavorable soil conditions. Helical piles can be added to an existing foundation to repair foundational problems, or can be installed prior to construction to provide a stable and non-settling foundation to build upon. Helical piers can be installed directly adjacent to or within limited access areas of existing structures. Unlike driven piles, they can installed to depth with minimal noise and vibration. Installed below ground level, helical piers are generally invisible upon completion of the installation or construction process. They are a versatile, long-term solution for a compromised existing foundation and an equally effective preventative measure for new structures.
