Sheet Metal Fabrication

This is a process whereby sheet metal is formed by metalworking to create small parts or even large assemblies. Examples of sheet metal fabricated parts can be found in heating and ventilation systems, roofs, siding, restaurant equipment and railroad cars. Techniques used for sheet metal fabrication include waterjet cutting, roll forming, metal stamping and welding. The advanced fabrication method of laser cutting utilizes lasers to cut or etch precise holes into sheet metal. Waterjet cutting involves highly pressurized water used to cut sheet metal.
