International Microsystems Introduces New M5315 USB 3.0 Duplicator

June 2011—International Microsystems, Inc., has just released their newest product, the M5315 USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Duplicator. The M5315 supports both USB 3.0 Super Speed and USB 2.0 High Speed devices. It utilizes one master socket and 15 target sockets for parallel USB duplication. The M5315 is the fastest and most powerful USB duplicator on the market today. The M5315 is targeted for use with USB hard drives as well as standard USB sticks. In addition, the M5315 is highly suitable for loading content on other devices utilizing USB ports such as mobile phones, GPS gadgets, and PDA's. A number of copy methods are available including binary image, file copy, as well as IMI’s advanced IMI Smart Copy whereby the M5315 copies only the used portions of the master USB to the target drives. Typical USB 3.0 copy speeds for a fully loaded machine speeds are greater than 3.5 GB/minute and USB 3.0 verification speeds are greater than 2.5 GB/minute. The M5315 features easy-to-use, intuitive software for quick setup and operation. The M5315 can be run entirely in a standalone mode from its front panel LCD and 4 keys or alternatively, a 17" VGA LCD screen, PC keyboard, and mouse can be used for fully scripted job creation and execution. The M5315 supports 10/100/1000 Ethernet for connection to a user’s network and also includes an SQL database for logging information.
